A Russian-American violoncellist and music teacher, Evsei Beloussoff came to the United States in 1923, made a transcontinental tour, and appeared in New York as a soloist and in sonata recitals with Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Wanda Landowska, and Rubin Goldmark.
